THIS is a 1901 Steinway model A-2. The piano has been restored in the past, with all steinway action parts. Hammers, shanks, flanges, AND repetitions as well! Restrung, with new strings, pins, pin block, Victorian era legs were changed out with straight Steinway legs. Lyre and music desk are original. Piano has very little wear on the new action. Internally, it's a 9+ on a 10 scale. Externally, it's an 8.5. Action is medium weighted, lightning fast, and produces the big, bold American Steinway sound which you'd expect from an instrument of this caliber. No issues mechanically. It plays and sounds like a Steinway SHOULD!
